Let us pray

Loving Father

Loving Father, your son Jesus inspires countless men and women by His example and teaching. Give us the strength we need to work together to make His message live in our world.

May we listen to you with our hearts and minds. Fill us with wisdom in our deliberations and help us to experience joy in all our endeavours and to bring your healing love into areas of conflict.

We pray that your Holy Spirit will guide us as we seek to build the family of the Church in the world. May we recognise your gifts at work in each and every one of us so that we can all share in the building of a just and equitable society.

Give the members of our associations the power to speak on behalf of the voiceless and to uphold the rights of the downtrodden in our world. Lead us to see you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day.
